Reverse osmosis - RO S

The machines of the RO S series are designed, sized and built with procedures in strict quality regime and with particular attention to the containment of energy and water consumption.

The reverse osmosis of the RO S family are suitable for small uses in the community, industrial, agricultural, technological and wherever water with low salinity is desired; they can be used in the standard execution up to pressures of 13 bar (at 15 ° C) using different types of membranes.

reverse osmosis

The RO S have an exclusive design, are compact, sturdy and functional and, thanks to their dimensions and the specially designed structure, they can be installed both on the base and on the wall. Their operation is managed with PLC logic and "flushing" is envisaged at the end of the work cycle, with programmable intermediate time and every 24 hours of inactivity in order to avoid premature deterioration of the membranes. Flow rate: from 2000 to about 8000 liters / day (in the standard versions).

Reverse Osmosis on membrane

reverse osmosis membrane

It is a membrane process, which allows almost all of the substan- ces present in it to be removed from the water.

The water in the feed is pressurized by a pump which exerts a pressure higher than the osmotic one, obtaining two flows: the permeate, poor in salts and the concentrate with a high salt concentration, due to the accumulation of all the salts which do not have crossed the membrane.

Standard equipment

  • Bearing structure entirely made of AISI 304 stainless steel;
  • Piping and low pressure line fittings in PVC-U PN16;
  • Piping and high pressure line fittings in special plastic material 13 bar at 15 ° C;
  • Adjustable safety pressure switches for pressure: minimum and maximum;
  • 24V solenoid valves for power supply and flushing;
  • Valves AISI 316 pressurization, remineralization, recirculation (if provided);
